Wait a darn second..the WINNER has to buy Scott a prize? Where in the rules did it say that? lol

Actually, Scott deserves an E-3 for all the wok he does on this website. Let me think..if we all (all 65 of us) chip throw $1 a month into a hat, he'd have one by....thinking...anyone?...anyone?..two years? By that time they'll be out with an E-12 or something, so...never mind.

Hide it on the books? Why would I have to do that? I really have no books, and assuming I ever had books, no one ever looks at them anyway. We have just enough in the bank for an E-3, but then I'd have to leave the country (with it, of course).

Back to the contest...

I read the darn rules
from that Promenade place.
They ain't no darn fools
They've made a clear case.

And they've offered a prize
Or actually a few,
To any gal or guy
With the best shots on view.

Now that's over, all's said and done
You can't vote for all three...
So if you have to pick one,
Just let it let it be me.

Truly, blatant self-promotion at its finest!  ::)

First of all, before I begin, I have to say sorry to Bryan because when I went Friday night to the Promenade I did not know his picture was there. If I had, we would have voted for his too.

Friday night, I brought my teenage children and their friends to the Promenade and had them vote for my (of course) and Jeff's pictures. So at least now we each have a few votes!!!

Maybe I could gather a few neighbors up and drag them down to the Promenade!

If you can manufacture an e-mail address and a phone #...wait, I think it said you have to be 13 years old to vote. Wonder where they came up with that age? You think they thought Andy might be a semi-finalist?  ::)

Perhaps we can chip in for a bus and round up people to vote. Heck, if they can do it in Chicago, maybe we can vote twice.

Hi gang,

A few months ago I entered the “Life In The Valley” photography contest, and tonight at “The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley”  the 30 semi-finalists (out of 712 submitted photos!!) were announced.  I am both honored and humbled to announce that I made the top 30!! The 30 semi-finalist photos will be on display for two weeks in Town Square at The Promenade Shops (the area surrounding Starbucks) for people to cast their ballots, and I would be honored if you would vote for my entry.  My photo is #22, and I have also attached it to this post for you to make a “visual” mental note.

For more information and a list of prizes, check out http://snipurl.com/photocontest

Warmest Regards,
Bryan

Congratulations for making it to the semi-finals.  I think it is very exciting to participate successfully in a photography contest and I like your picture.  However, I think voters should be unbiased instead voting for a picture because the voters is also a club members or are affiliated.  Otherwise the results would not be representative and unfair.  Not to mention that such practice could give the LVPC a bad reputation.

Congratulations to both Sandy and Bryan for being among the eleven winners in the Promenade's photo contest!!  I suspect we will continue to see more and more club members' names popping up all over the region, whether it be in contests or on photo credits. Once again, well done!   :)
