I noticed amazon has three different prices for the extreme III 4G card.  $32.54 for the one you linked to which has ESP Technology on the side and is bulk packaging.  Another for $44.99 for retail packaging. And the last one for $48.71 which doesn't have the ESP on the card but says 30MB/s.

I'm going to assume the ESP is a slower card and I'm going to assume that with the bulk packaging you are not getting the recovery disk or the carrying pouch, both of which I wouldn't need anyway.

didn't notice about esp, but that according to sandisk that is faster write speeds, 40mb per second.
Yeah its bulk packaging.
The software for recovery I could care less about, and it comes in the chinsy plastic case.

Bulk is cheaper and if you don't nned the backup software or the nice soft case then Bulk is the way to go. You still get the cheap plastic case as Anthony said...

Heh, if you need the soft case I have a few extra for some reason...

Yeah, they keep updating the Rescue Disks... Now it is V3.3 that I just got... Cases are cheaper made also now... They used to be a net to hold the CF but now just plan old plastic...

I just ordered the 4gb for $44 (faster speed than the cheaper one) with free shipping.  Dan's had a 2 gb Promaster card for much, much more (about $57).  Thanks, Anthony!!
