Link to Website
« on: January 19, 2008, 05:58:26 am »
Just wanted to know if there was a way that there could be a link back to the regular website on here somewhere and maybe one to the flickr site as well? Also a link back in the Gallery...

Very good job on this by the way....

Yes - Absolutely.   I just decided to go to bed last night.   ;)

I have to customize the header, and I'm still looking around at other themes/templates unless everyone likes this one which is fine.   But I'll try and add a link to the main website and the gallery up in the header section.

Also can I add pdf forms anywhere for people to see the rules for contests and the Membership Application, Bylaws, etc....

Ric,

You can apply attachments to forum posts under the "Additional Options" section when posting.   However, make sure you send them along to me as well and I will make fixed links to them on the "main" website under the Membership page.

Ok, tried out the upload for pdf's and it works... Just have to figure out where to post them... It says only allowed 4 max per post but there are not that many... And when I put them on I will let you have them also...

I can change the limit if needed.   I could create an "Information" board if you think that would be helpful.   Or we could just put them up on the main site and you could link to them in a forum post so that if we ever make changes, there is only one place that needs to be updated / uploaded.

I tried a couple versions, which version is up now that you find hard to see?   The stone background and black text?

I didn't know we can put them on the main site... I would rather do that and then just link to them from here somewhere.

Sure thing Ric.  Just send anything you want up on the main site to me via email and I will upload them to the main site so you can then link to them in forum posts.

Could you put a link on the Gallery like you did here to get back to the Forum and/or the main site?

Yeah, I just haven't gotten that far yet.   I need to find where the code is in the header, but shouldn't be much of a problem.
