Lee:  So what do you think about your new tripod??  Can you tell any difference in your photos?  Was it light weight enough?

I am glad everyone had a good time.  I am still bummed that I had to miss it.

Not much of the lavender was in bloom yet so you could visit later if you're better.  It may be more impressive in a week or two.

What a bummer.  Niko thought they would be at the height of their blooms which is why I picked that day.  Maybe, all the rain slowed things down.

@Scott,
My Gitzo is fantastic!!!  There is no difference in the quality of the photographs  ;D  I used my Manfrotto Head (from my heavy tripod) with the Gitzo.  The MAJOR issue is the weight.  It's barely there!!  I can take it on a plane without killing myself.
