Mayfair at Cedar Beach Park has something for everyone.  It does cost to get in to Mayfair, but there are a lot of activities going on.  I am pretty sure that last year, Tony and I bought a pass that allowed us to come back and forth on more than one day.  This is also located near the Allentown Rose Garden which is beautiuful.

I hope they have elephant ears or my wife is going angry with me!   :P  I will be there with my co-pilot as usual....i may have to start paying her as a photo gear assistant  ;D

Hi!!!
This is my first time using this site, I'm excited to have a group of people to shoot with!!! I would love to go to the Mayfair shoot, I was planning on it before I saw this posting, but was not sure what you are and are not allowed to legally shoot at an event like this???

You can take pictures of whatever action is going on around you, but you might be told not to photograph vendor wares.  I rarely have a problem with anyone asking me not to take a picture, but I honor any requests not to do so.  As for taking pictures of children, I am always leery about doing so without the parents' permission.

I checked the mayfair site and they have elephant ears so my co-pilot has given me a green light.

There is more than one entrance.  We usually enter from the Allentown Rose Garden. I think we should agree to meet near the paddleboats.  That is an easy place to find and is pretty much in the middle from the different entrances.

That lens would not  be my first choice.  I think you will find a wide angle lens more useful for this setting.  I plan to bring my 18-105mm.  I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, I realized that I have a conflict on Sunday, so I will be attending on Saturday instead.  I hope you all have a great time.  There is a lot of opportunities for great pictures.  Don't forget to check out the Rose Garden.

Ok if there is some reason I can't find the paddle boats look for a big guy with a camera and a asian wife eating elephant ears!! :P :P :P
