Behind the falls

Picture from Lehigh Gorge State Park.  Wish I had used more flash to illuminate left side of photo.  I was more concerned with not slipping and damaging my camera.

Cool photo.  If you use lightroom, you can highlight the left side of the photo only.  Probably can do it in photoshop as well.

Here are 2 images that I got from your image using ACDsee Pro 3 which is excellent in bringing out the light in darker areas.

My try pulling up the bottom of the tone curve. One could do better from the raw file. The dark end has been clipped in the jpg. So the detail is loss.

You know, you may want to crop a little off the left as well.....

Well Alex, you did pull up a lot more detail but the contrast has gone flat in the process. I think Judy has the eye here. I tried a crop of the original.
