Susan Brown is a photographer who likes to capture the changing moods of nature. She is currently documenting wildflowers growing along the Saucon Creek. These photographs have not been altered by a photo editing program. Originally from England, Susan trained as a printer at Bachrach Portrait Photographers Studio in Boston, MA. She is a member of the Coopersburg, and the Lehigh Valley photography clubs. A long time resident of Saucon Valley, she is a registered nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem.

Charles J. Daniels is a photographer and watercolor artist.  He is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a BSEE and MS in Physics, and has worked in the electronic industry for many years.  Currently, he is a free-lance photographer for Lehigh Valley Marketplace Magazine.  Charles has studied both traditional and oriental art.  When photographing and painting he keeps in mind the lines (diagonals), the placement of the subject, and the sweep of the curves in the composition.  He looks for a rhythm and/or a tension within each piece.

Edward A. Leskin of Allentown graduated from Moravian College and received his MFA in Photography from Pratt University.  As a life long student of politics and Fine Art, his photography gives him an opportunity to express complex interpretations of real time events.  Subjects over the years have included: The Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel, Impact and Legacy of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and the Israeli Palestinian conflict. His equipment of choice is a Leica.  Edward teaches photography at the Banana Factory in Bethlehem.

Lenny Szy, a Lower Saucon resident, was raised in Hellertown.  His attending a one-room schoolhouse influenced his interest in becoming a local historian.  During his Air Force service years he became interested in photography leading to a career as a professional portrait photographer.  Lenny specializes in photos of local historic sites and artifacts, as well as, floral and landscape subjects.

The historic Heller Homestead, nominated to the National Register of Historic Places, is located at 1890 - 92 Friedensville Road (Water Street) in Lower Saucon Town ship, Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The Homestead is part of Heller Homestead Park owned by Lower Saucon Township and leased by the Saucon Valley Conservancy. It is approximately one half mile west of Route 412 and Water Street in Hellertown. Turn west on Water Street, which becomes Friedensville Road in Lower Saucon Township. Go across the bridge. The Homestead is on the left adjacent to the Saucon Creek and opposite Creek Road.

Sounds like a great show. I took a class from Ed Leskin through LCCC, so I'm looking forward to seeing his work as well.

Jeff, I know you have a lot of toys, do you have a time machine too?

Yes, you caught me as well. If this was a test I failed. I know Charlie and sent this info to him and a few other friends. He tells me they had a great turnout last year.  ::) ...  :o ...  ;D

Gary...I'm laughing here...I really need to check on a posting's date as well as the contents. Now I'm sorry I missed this exhibition last year...it was last year, wasn't it?
