Hello all!
I joined the club earlier this month hoping to join in on some of the club shoots. My interest in photography has had peaks and valleys over the years. As a youth, I had the little Kodak film cameras. In the early 70's, I was given a Minolta SRT-101 SLR. Mostly I took 35mm slides of family and vacations. About 10 years later, I bought a Pentax SLR and slowly lost interest. Beginning in 2000, I bought a series of point and shoot digital cameras and in 2008 I bought a Digital SLR. I made good use of the government tax rebate and bought a Sony A200 DSLR. Well that pretty much lit the fuse and I've suffered through G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) since. Thankfully I have a limited budget so I can't go overboard without guilt. Last December, I moved up to a Sony A700. Quite the machine!
As far as the rest of my life, I'm a retired Electrical Engineer with three grand children. I was born and raised in Lynn, Massachusetts and moved to the Lehigh Valley in 1986.
