FYI, I was just looking at Dan's Camera page on Facebook. Someone asked if it was ok to submit a photo from outside the county and the reply was yes...(the person had a photo from Reading). It is my understanding that Jeff Hall, Marketing @ Dan's, runs their Facebook page.

"Dan's Camera City  http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Allentown-PA/Dans-Camera-City/67038912512?ref=ts
Yes they can be taken outside of the Lehigh Valley, so the Reading area would be fine.

"Submit your photos depicting life’s little treasures, the beauty of nature, or extraordinary places here in the Lehigh Valley."

Now to figure out which photo(s) I want to submit!  ;D

Just be aware that if you pay them the entry fee and win, you lose all rights to your photo.

That's why I didn't enter last year. I didn't have any that I wanted to enter and not care about losing rights to it.  :-\

Not sure if I will enter any this year but I'm looking through photos.

I entered last year and made the finals for display...didn't make the final selections, but some in our Club did. If I don't win anything, then I figure that's about what the rights to my photos are worth anyway, which is slightly less than a hill of beans. If I actually won anything whatsoever, I'd be ahead. (Meaning no disrespect to those who are in this for money and want to protect their property rights...all I ask for is credit, which is only right in itself).  ::)
