I know....big discussions going on about it too...some of the list admins are flat out saying Do not post video to our group, it will be deleted.
Check this out! http://www.flickr.com/search/groups/?q=no%20video   :o

From the Flickr owners: "Video on Flickr is going to be defined by our incredible, diverse, far-flung and fabulously talented members. Some answers that we’ve come up with:

   1. A long photo   ???
   2. Personal
   3. Simple – not overproduced or slick
   4. Possibly the best answer so far: The Great Unknown

Basically it's 90 seconds of fame....  ::)

love it....not a social network like flickr, but for hosting, you can get three different levels.....standard, power and pro.
I have the power level now which I can design it as a regular webpage.....but haven't done it yet.
No spam, passwords if you want, etc.

hey you sign up using my name or site as a reference you get 5.00 off the first year.

I definitely like it over flickr and think its easier to use......

I think smugmug and flickr are really two different beasts.  Smugmug is more for displaying your photos online while Flickr is more about interaction and as Anthony says, a social network type of site.
