Dealing with spam on the forums
« on: March 19, 2010, 07:55:41 am »
When you see a post that's spam, please don't reply to it.  That just makes removing it more difficult and gives the spammer more page views.

On every post, including this one, there's a "Report to moderator" link at the bottom-right corner of the post.  Please use that to report any messages that don't belong.

If you're traveling to Latvia, Korea, Ecuador, Russia, or China in the near future, you may have some trouble hitting the club site.  I've noticed some trends in the origin addresses of the spam as well as some other attacks on the web site and have blocked address ranges for these countries from connecting.  This should cut down on future spam posts.

To those of you who've been reporting them, thanks!
