Turning Point Benefit @ Texas Roadhouse in Trexlertown
« on: March 17, 2010, 06:17:45 pm »
Hi Fellow Photographer's

My fiancee's daughter & fellow LVPC Member (Lindsey Rothrock) is currently working on her Senior Project and that project is to collect money for a local organization named Turning Point.  This organization helps women/families in abusive relationship get the help that they need.  As part of the this on-going project a night has been set aside by the Texas Roadhouse chain to donate 10% of each parties check (see flyer for restrictions) to Turning Point.

This is scheduled for the Monday, March 29th between the hours of 4 PM - 10 PM @ the Trexlertown location only.  Attached is a link to a flyer which you must have to have the 10% donated (but we will be onsite with more flyers because we want as much money to go to this worthy cause!)

This will take you to a site to allow you download the PDF and print a copy and to hand out to friends/family you would like to have attend to help raise money for this cause.

I want to personally thank the LVPC Executive committee for allow this to be posted here, there is another event going on and if you would like to attend it, please contact Lindsey @ the email address below and we will provide you the details.

If you have any questions/comments, please feel free to contact Lindsey @ stopdviolence@gmail.com or post on this thread and someone will get back to you!

As a addition to Ken's post, I'd like to let you know that Turning Point will take cell phones that you are no longer using.

They reprogram the phones and give them to their residents so they have a way to be reached when they apply for jobs. If you have any cell phones that you are no longer using, please give them to Lindsey or her parents.  :D
