Hi! My name is Joan, and I've been fiddling around with photography since I was a kid in upstate NY. Whenever I want to learn more about something, I go find a club to join. (This is how I learned about computers, way back when - and writing, and bicycles, and so on.) I was a little overwhelmed at my first meeting (the search for a parking spot nearly did me in), but John Barclay was such an inspiration that I decided to stick around.
I missed the Cuttalossa Farm shoot in February (slept in that morning), so I went there with my camera the next day. It's a very special place for me, since I used to live in the big stone house at the corner of Cuttalossa and River Roads, across from the restaurant. Hasn't changed a bit!
