I started photographing in 1965 with a Kodak 35mm rangefinder camera I bought in a pawn shop. Bought a Canon SLR in '69. I shot black and white film and had my own darkroom. In the early 1980’s I took photography classes at Bucks County (PA) Community College. By the late 1980’s I was busy making a living and sold my darkroom equipment. I didn’t do much shooting until 2003 when I bought a digital camera. I retired in 2007 and returned to photography.
I found a quote that fits my style of shooting - "My pictures are never pre-visualized or planned. I feel strongly that pictures must come from contact with things at the time of taking. At such times, I rely on intuitive, perceptual responses to guide me . . ." ---Wynn Bullock
I've been a member since last Fall. Now that the weather is getting better I hope to make a meeting soon.
