The times on the website are conflicting.  The main page clearly states noon; the garden page states dawn to dusk.  (Had to check my sanity).

The recorded message on their phone line states NOON.

Just called Stonehedge and talked with them directly. The noon til dawn refers more to the gift shop, and someone being there. Due to a conflict, there will be no one there tomorrow, and the building will not be open. However, the garden remains open for walking around, and it IS open from dawn until dusk.

So, anyone pick a meeting time? It doesn't seem to matter re the place itself. For myself, I'd prefer the morning

The girl also mentioned that they are having a big open free event there on Saturday and Sunday, May 1-2.

I went to look at the website...the front page says Noon to Dusk but if you click on the link for the gardens, it says Dawn to Dusk. I'm going to be there around 10 if anyone wants to join me then.  ;D

Unfortunately I will not be able to go tomorrow as I am recovering from being hit by a drunk driver last night in my own driveway. I threw a party for my son's 21st birthday and everyone was staying over except one woman who refused to stay. I stopped her but it cost me a night in the hospital and her losing her car for the night from wrecking her tire. She hit a marker pole in my yard after hitting me and she almost flipped it. Cops, Ambulances, oh what a night... I am real sore in my legs but no broken bones and only lost a brand new pair of jeans from them cutting them to check my legs.

Sorry to post it here but wanted to let you all know. If this needs to be moved then go ahead and move it..

Thanks,
Ric

Newest info about meeting time---gardens actually do open at dawn.  It is the buildings that don't open till noon so we had a major misunderstanding.  Get there when you can.  Someone from the club will be there between the hours of 9 am and at least 1 or 2 pm.
Sorry about the confusion.  These things happen sometimes.....

Sorry Rick, I hope you recover quickly.

I don't think I will be able to make it since we had 25 yards of mulch delivered yesterday! Work, work, work...

Sorry to hear about the accident.  I am leaving for Stonehedge right now.  I was a little confused about what time to meet as the times kept changing.

Saw as many club members as flowers, but it was a nice day for a ride and walk. Thre are daffodils and tulips and several blue flowers. Always things to shoot though, as Ric and Rhonda were shooting a snake by the pond, and I saw a good shot of a mushroom.

Ric - your bruises may have saved someone else's child or husband.  Thanks for having the courage to make tough choices and glad to here you weren't injured more severly.

Wait until you see my snake picture!  It was really worth my patience; not to mention a little help from a friend.

While the gardens were fun and I enjoyed myself immensely with Sue Smith and Jayson and Debi Long, I especially enjoyed the ride up and back on PA 309!!  The views were breathtaking!!  So was the pollen, but that is another story!!
