2010 George W. Glennie Nature Interclub Exhibition

What do you think?  Can we get 10 images together from this Club?

I think it would be good for the Club to participate, even if we don't expect to win. Keep it simple, make it timely. It's always interesting to see how fast time flies, and this one would give us 60 days to finalize. Find someone (or a committee) to take charge, set up some simple guidelines and a place to submit them to be selected for submission (could be asking Brian to set up a gallery and vote, or simply a committee to decide on which ones to submit the first time around).

What about opening a gallery so that members may add their photos for this competition?  I just read the fine print/rules re: submissions....very little "tweaking" of images is permitted.  sigh.

Before we get to far along, is this open to all clubs. On their main website, they say "George W. Glennie Memorial Nature Exhibition
All clubs in the NECCC will be invited to participate." At another place, they state "All clubs in the NECCC and others in selected PSA Regions will be invited to participate". The NECCC is the "New England Camera Club Council (NECCC)".

Did we get an invitation to participate? If so, cool!

Andy got the invitation last year (that's how I found out about this).  I checked to see if they were doing it again and found the info.
@TJ:  Yes, when I went on their site last night, I was redirected.  Their "webmaster" must have awakened, LOL.

Yes, we were invited.  Andy posted the invitation on Jan. 1, 2010 (look down after the this subject on the main section, "Events").  I haven't checked the rules for submissions, but they follow PSA guidelines on correction, etc.  They even have an HDR category!  (Very forward thinking indeed!!)

Has anyone decided what the cut-off date is for posting to this gallery?
