Photo Tour Idea... (Tongue in Cheek)

Imagine gliding through historic Bethlehem on a 21st Century personal transporter.

Or, just do it -- on a Segway tour.

Starting April 19, full tours will take place Saturdays throughout the summer. Cost is $80 per person for a two-hour excursion. You need to buy tickets online in advance of the day you visit.

The tours will begin at Segway of the Lehigh Valley, 318 East 3rd St., in south Bethlehem, with training on how to control the self-balanced, two-wheeled computer-controlled scooters.

There is a guy who does it in Southmont shopping center and on Freemansburg ave with his hands behind his back..
The "best invention".....yeah right a waste of 5,000 grand if you ask me...

Ever since I got my Upstrap - I never worry about my camera slipping off my shoulder, etc.  Plus, with the length I have, I can sling it across my body and to my side like a bag.  The only downside to that carrying method is with long telephotos that tend to extend when hanging.

Perhaps for $160 they'll let either of you you ride with one leg on each vehicle. Then you can switch off halfway, and still keep to a cost of $80 per person. I'm just sayin...

Funny!  Now that I've had more time to contemplate the idea of riding around standing up, I have a proposal that will save you both $40. How about instead of spending $80 each for the tour (which, admittedly you can't qualify for anyway), you get o experience it in some way by giving me each $40. That way, I'll take the tour for both of you, and I'll promise to come back with some photos for you (albeit not that clearly focused, as I ONLY shoot with a Canon). Thoughts?
