Bryan Zimmerman - "New" Newsletter Editor - Introduction
« on: October 22, 2009, 10:46:39 am »
Greetings,

My name is Bryan Zimmerman, and I have taken over the position of "Newsletter Editor" for the club. I have already begun a complete redesign with plans for additional features. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to those who may not know me, and what I can bring to the club.

I have an AAS degree in Visual Communications from Lehigh Valley College, and specialize in both print and web design. I am also a professional musician with 20+ years experience, a published author/photographer, and am currently publishing my first book of my poetry and photography set to an original musical score.

My photography can be viewed at http://www.lensfetish.com, and I am currently completing a blog of my poetry and music to compliment the photography site.

-------

Due to the time frame in which I accepted the position, my first newsletter will come out on November 15th, which will cover both October and November. I am not one to rush as it inevitably results in errors, and this seems to be the best solution.

The December Newsletter will resume on January 01, 2010, and continue monthly from that point on.

--------

Deadlines and contact information:

Please have content to me no later than the 15th of each month, so I have plenty of time for the layout and any last minute additions.
All content should be emailed to newsletter@lvphotographyclub.org, which will forward directly to me.

The remainder of formats, size of pictures, and the like will not change, and can be found at http://www.lvphotographyclub.org/faq/#newsletter

---------

Lastly, I am honored to take over this position, not because I love to design, but more important as a way to show my appreciation to a group of fellow photographers who have helped me a plethora of times over the past year.

I am open for and encourage suggestions, and can only hope that you find my work pleasing to the eye, and that I live up to the many years that Tj has held this position.

Kind Regards,
Bryan J Zimmerman
