Thanks guys.....old age & memory is going....can't remember my password for my log in on my orig. screen name so had to create a new account.

Tell me about it.   You try and have different passwords to protect yourself, but you can only remember so many.   "I had a password for my password, but I couldn't remember the password to retrieve the password."

I use ewallet...both on my phone and desktop....all passwords in one place safe, etc.
good software for this stuff.

don't have a clue as to what ewallett is 

not up on all the techie stuff, when I went for my last phone 2 years ago it was difficult to find just a phone...w/o all the other stuff

ewallet is a desktop app with an optional phone app.
It stores all your passwords, etc. in am easy to view database....

Just an FYI that I just started testing KeePass Password Safe (It's FREE!) and so far I'm pretty impressed.  It has AES/TwoFish encryption and can be run from a USB flash/key drive.
