Membership

Membership is what builds or breaks a club and I think there are a lot of people out there who want to join our club but just do not know about the club...

So, we are in need of a P.R. person to get the word out.... If you would like to give it a try then let us know... We need you....

In case no one knows... P.R. means Public Relations person...
We need someone to write up things for newspapers...

I stink at writing to be honest with you.
However, I tried getting in touch with Olympus and Musikfest about how we could for lack of a better term advertise there.
Maybe at one of our meetings we could invite someone from the morning call or express times.  They could possibly do a small write up in the local section.

I also used to do PR for the Boy Scout Troop in Coopersburg.
Oh, and I know someone who has a friend who is in "administration" for Musikfest.......

Sure, feel free to do that. My site is actually thru geocities.com and a lot of hits will shut it down for a bit....the flottgenealogy.com web url is a domain name that forwards to the geocities.com site.

Good idea about inviting someone from the Morning Call or Express Times...we could send out "invites" to a few of them to see who would visit a group meeting or.......our Prez could contact the Morning Call to see if one of their photographers would like to do a talk on being a newspaper photographer. It would get them in our door.......and maybe they would write up an article on the photgrapher speaking to our club!?! :D

Whoever answers the mail for info@lvphotoclub.org should be getting a notice about a posting to lehighvalley.craigslist. I posted a blurb there directing people to the group.

Posted a few Flyers that Teresa made for the club today at work and had people ask me about the club. They really want the link to this site on the Flyers too...

Should I post the flyers on here so all can see them? I can link them to my website so all can see them... There are 3... Maybe that way we can get feedback on them from all members?
