A new Olympus...

Not my cup of tea... but a "new" Oly none the less.   Maybe a new E-520 coming around the corner?

Check out this pancake lens:

I was thinking that too, Anthony!  :D  It's right up his alley.  Except, the photographer has to bring the camera with him to use it!  lol  Sorry, Jeff, I couldn't resist.  Ok, Ok, the photographer's card must be ready to accept images.  ;D

Now all the speculation is about the E-520 coming by 'June or July'.    Will it have articulating LCD?  Will it have weather sealing?  Will it share the E-3 sensor?   Etc.

I have an FL-50 (not the R) - but I hate shooting flash.  I really hate the look of most flash photography - even though I know it's necessary at times.   Off camera & strobes/constant lights are better - but luckily, my favorite form of shooting - auto racing - has very limited options for flash outside of being in the garage/pit road/paddock areas.

I've read a few people who have used the after market grip for the E-510 and say it works well - even if the battery doors look a little goofy.

I'm waiting to see if the E-520 (or whatever might come out) is worthy as a purchase.  If not, it should push the price of the 510 down enough (It's already just $475 or so for just the body) to justify it as my primary body and my 500 as a 2nd body.

I have been tempted by the E-1 believe it or not, just to have a rugged beat to hell camera.
