My Great-Uncle who was the reason I got interested in photography.

OK, I will give it a go

My favorite photography accessory is my Tenba photobag.  It is the perfect size.  It fits everything and is easy to carry

I’ve learned the most from reading everything I can about photography that  I can get my hands on whenever I have a chance

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be Alaska because - I have no idea!  It just looks cool!

My most-used Photoshop add-on, plugin, action set (etc) is the lasso tool.

I love the fact that Photoshop lets you do so much - it really is an artistic way of expressing yourself

I hate the fact that Photoshop is so complicated to learn

If I could turn back the clock 10 years I would save money like crazy.  And buy lots of stock that I would sell about two years ago.

In 10 years I will be 10 years older and wherever God decides I should be.

If I could give one piece of advice it would be look for the beauty in life.  Isn't that why we are all photographers?

My favorite photography accessory (lights, modifier, bag, tripod) is .... probably my LumiQuest Softbox for my flash because I use it so often when shooting macro/close-ups.

I’ve learned the most from .... getting out and shooting every chance I can get. In spring/summer/fall, I am out almost every evening.

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be back to Monterey, CA yet again because…. I love to photograph those wonderful sea otters.

My most-used Photoshop add-on, plugin, action set (etc) is .... Neat Image noise reduction.

I love the fact that Photoshop .... can let me do almost anything with an image.

I hate the fact that Photoshop .... has so many features that I will probably never use or even understand.

If I could turn back the clock 10 years .... I would have started in photography ten years earlier.

In 10 years .... I'll be 70 and selling nature images on the Village Green in Bar Harbor. It certainly beats the alternative!

If I could give one piece of advice it would be .... don't take advice from strangers!

My favorite photography accessory (lights, modifier, bag, tripod) is ....my monopod. I keep it in the car in case I'm going to be attacked by a dog.

I’ve learned the most from ....experience and experimenting.

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be Italy because that's where my wife wants to go again, and thus...well...:-)

My most-used Photoshop add-on, plugin, action set (etc) is ....Dfine, a simple and effective noise reduction software.

I love the fact that Photoshop ....let's you do a simple repeatable workflow.

I hate the fact that Photoshop ....has do many options, so that people like me who don't like to read instructions miss out on features (at least I think I am, but then again, how would I know?)

If I could turn back the clock 10 years ....photographically speaking, or personally? I was single for the first time in my adult life, so let's talk about...hmmm...photography. I'd study the technical aspects so I could get a better base from which to work.

In 10 years ....I hope to be doing pretty much the same as I am now. Breathing is my main goal for 10 years.

If I could give one piece of advice it would be ....enjoy the moment you have at hand, and do something different periodically. OK, that's two, but they can go together if done right.

Tj,

Perhaps you could pick out some of your favorite replies (perhaps funny, perhaps relevant and informative) and publish them in some future edition of the newsletter, with or without names attached.

My Turn:

My favorite photography accessory (lights, modifier, bag, tripod) is .... my tripod.  I leave it in my car, so it is always available.

I’ve learned the most from ....experimenting, listening to others, and evaluating my past mistakes so I don't make them again.

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be Australia or Alaska because I have always wanted to visit those two places.

My most-used Photoshop add-on, plugin, action set (etc) is ....I don't use Photoshop, but I do use Elements 7.  I use the lasso tool and clone tool to eliminate unwanted details.

I love the fact that Photoshop ....Elements has many of the same useful features as Photoshop, but it costs a lot less.

I hate the fact that Photoshop ....Elements sometimes doesn't upload as quickly as I would like; it seems sluggish.

If I could turn back the clock 10 years ....I would have gotten my degree in photography instead of teaching.

In 10 years ....I hope to still be alive, and maybe have pictures of a grandchild or two to show off.

If I could give one piece of advice it would be ....to stop procrastinating.  Live each day to the best of your ability because you never know what tomorrow will bring.
