It must have been a challenge trying to fit them all in a line like that.  I come from a large family.  My parents also were from large families so I have lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. I have five sisters and two brothers.  Whenever we try to get a family picture, they always put us in rows.  The picture turned out very nice.

There were 6 in my family - 4 girls and 2 boys. I'm the third in line.

My Uncle's family had 4 boys and 2 girls. We tried to get my Dad to swap our 2 brothers for the 2 girl cousins....for some reason he wouldn't.  ???            :D

I am also the third oldest in our family.  My oldest brother is only a half brother and lived primarily with his mother.  My parents had six girls and then my brother, so you can only imagine how spoiled he became.  We treated him like one of our dolls most of the time.   While our parents did their fair share of spoiling him, I think his sisters definitely need to share in the blame.  ;D

On my father's side there are 25 first cousins, my brother being the oldest (now 68) and my sister being the youngest (44).  It sure is a challenge to get everyone at least looking towards the camera, especially when there are little kids that are totally bored and want to go and play!! (see my photo below)
I want to know what bribes all those kids were offered in the Duggar family photo!!
Here is a family reunion photo I took back in 2001 of some of the cousins and their families:

Not the greatest photo but at least we got everyone in the photo that attended the party.  I am the last one on the right in the back row, my sister is 4th from the left in the back row and my niece is the 3 year old up front with the hat.

Loretta,

Thanks for sharing your picture.  It looks more like our family reunion picture.  It was a real challenge trying to get all the kids to look at the camera.   There were so many of us, that the photographer actually took all the grandchildren and great grandchildren in a separate photo.  I noticed that the Duggar's were in the newspaper because of a new addition.  I think it was only a couple days after Teresa posted her picture of them.  Being nosy, I was wondering how she became their photographer.

Update to the Duggar story:

SPRINGDALE, Ark. – Josh and Anna Duggar are following in the family tradition. Josh, the eldest of Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar's 18 kids, announced Monday that he and new bride Anna were about to start their own brood. The couple, who's been married since September, said Anna Duggar is due Oct. 18.

"I am three months right now and feeling great. Morning sickness is pretty much all gone, and so we're looking forward to the birth of our baby," Anna Duggar told NBC's "Today" show Monday.

The Duggars live in northwest Arkansas and are featured on the cable TV show, "18 Kids and Counting." Michelle Duggar most recently gave birth in December, to Jordyn-Grace. Along with Josh and Jordyn, Michelle and Jim Bob are parents to: Jana, 19; John-David, 19; Jill, 17; Jessa, 16; Jinger, 15; Joseph, 14; Josiah, 12; Joy-Anna, 11; Jeremiah, 10; Jedidiah, 10; Jason, 8; James, 7; Justin, 6; Jackson, 4; Johannah, 3; and Jennifer, 2.

Josh Duggar said he and his wife haven't yet picked out a name, but are leaning toward establishing a theme with the future children's names.
"We're pretty sure we're not going to go with J," Josh Duggar said.

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar said they're thrilled to become grandparents, although the new baby won't be much older than their youngest, 4-month-old Jordyn.
