Kevin will have a variety of strobes and continuous lighting instruments on-hand for demonstration. He will also talk about the basics of lighting technique and cover the classic lighting setups. He will also share some ideas on how to get started in studio photography when you’re on a budget.

She is a moderator for Bird Photographers Network which is an online photography site. Her recent book “A Guide to Creative Filters and Effects” is an expression of art and nature. Denise has co-led photography instructional tours for Arthur Morris who is a Canon Explorer of Light. He is a world renowned bird photographer and teacher. She offers online courses as well as photography workshops featuring avian, macro and HDR photography. She is also available for private instruction. Her recent eBooks include: “A Guide to Pleasing Blurs” by Arthur Morris and Denise Ippolito. This 20,701 word,271 page PDF is illustrated with 144 different, exciting, and artistic images. The guide covers the basics of creating pleasingly blurred images, the factors that influence the degree of blurring, the use of filters in creating pleasing blurs, and a great variety of both in-the-field and Photoshop techniques that can be used to create pleasingly blurred images.<br />
“A Guide to Creative Filters and Effects” by Denise Ippolito. This 19,000 word, 146 page PDF file is fully illustrated and outlines many Photoshop Filters and Creative Plug-ins. Each detailed tutorial section is written in a clear, concise, simple, easy to follow style that can be followed even by someone opening up Photoshop for the first time.<br />
“The Barnegat Jetty Site Guide” by Denise Ippolito with Arthur Morris. This Site Guide (6,190 words, 68 images) will make your first visit to this great bird photography location productive and safe. Denise explains the effects of the winds and the tides and the light on the photographic opportunities.<br />
“The Softer Side of Macro” by Denise Ippolito. This 5,800 word 68 page PDF file is illustrated with Denise’s signature soft approach to flowers. Denise explains her techniques for capturing and creating this pleasing side of macro photography.<br />
