I know with all the snow we had last month everyone is ready for Spring!! Our March event will be at a commercial grower that opened up his nursery to our club members last year and again this year.

| Second April 2010 Event—Lock Ridge Park in Alburtis, Sat 17 Apr | ||

A favorite shooting spot for many members of the Club!! The park includes several buildings and the ruins of an iron furnace. If you are interested in history, they have guides to explain the different buildings on the grounds. We picked the middle of April because the grape hyacinths (bluebells) will be in full bloom.

| First May 2010 Event—Downtown Easton/Riverfronts with Hillcrest Camera Club | ||

We are doing this as a joint shoot along with Hillcrest Camera Club of Phillipsburg, NJ on Sunday, May 16th. We will meet in Centre Square (the Circle) and take pix downtown as well as the bridges along the Lehigh and Delaware river fronts.
If the weather is good, I think we could also have an Early Bird shoot at dawn because the sunrises are spectacular over the Delaware River. Latecomers might want to hang out and get a good sunset shot along the Lehigh River. We will work out meeting times with Hillcrest Camera Club so stay tuned to this thread for more info as it becomes available. | Second May 2010 Event–Downtown Allentown Landmarks, Sun 23 May | ||

We will be meeting downtown and photographing some of the architectural landmarks in the city. Some may want to venture to the Rose Garden as well.
We’d like to plan a general route to take and post that here. If you have any ideas or favorite shooting spots, please reply to this post. We are always open to suggestions. Depending on the weather, we will probably start in the late morning. Stay tuned to this first post for the latest info on meeting place/parking and time to meet.
