June 2009 Assignment Winner - Open - Tom Davis
Tom says:
This is a bracketed 5-shot HDR of Portland Head Light, the most photographed lighthouse in Maine. It is, in some respects, a lucky shot. I was at this location the night before and shot from the other direction – with the sun at my back. I was satisfied with the results until I noticed that my favorite 3-year old had left his fingerprint on my lens. This is, as they say in golf, a Mulligan – a do-over.
