From Jeff Grim:

The owner of Peace Tree Farm, a wholesale grower in Kintnersville, being very cooperative, has agreed to let us come down on Saturday March 21st.  He does not normally open on a Saturday, though he himself is scheduled that day to be watering in the morning. There WILL be watering going on, and some machinery to step around, but he said that should not discourage a shoot. He will be there most of the morning, so we could stay an hour or two if we wanted to. This IS still early in the selling season, so unlike Mother’s Day it won’t be filled with bright open flowers. That would probably be true in most greenhouses at this time. He emphasized that there will be plenty of green, leaves and textures to shoot, and while a “limited palette of flowers, but still some great flowers” IF people come expecting to use tripods for super macros of bright open flowers, that won’t be the case for the most part.

The owner is also a photographer who was very open in discussing photographing flowers when I met him a few months ago.

Sound interesting? Consider joining other Club members at 9:00am this coming Saturday.
